It is easy to use the same cleaning products over and over and forget to clean the tools you’re using. Most vacuum dust cups should be emptied after each use. You may even need empty it multiple times while going over the whole home if you have a pet. Make sure you’re aware of the “Fill” line and empty as needed, otherwise, you’ll limit the vacuum performance. Most vacuums also have filters that need to be replaced or washed (or both). Make sure you know how many filters your vacuum has how often it is recommended to replace or wash them. You can deep clean your scrub brushes in hot water with disinfectant (we use vinegar) and then leave them to air dry. Lastly, if you use a microfiber cloth remember to wash it separately from laundry items that have lint to protect the effectiveness.
